Description
The Oneida Nation's $300,000 contribution to the JBS project's urban farm and food production barn was accepted, closing most of the construction funding gap after a $469,000 state grant still left the project about $350,000 short.
Impact summary
The barn will host beginning small farmers, package and store food on site, and add public restrooms and a shade structure next to the new park — and it saves the city TID money.
